KeyOn Communications announces license agreement with Fairpoint Communications
KeyOn received notice in the Las Vegas Review Journal today for its announced license agreement with Fairpoint Communications. The agreement will license KeyOn's 802.11b wireless high-speed internet network technology to Fairpoint, which operates numerous regional telephone companies throughout the United States. The deal will allow Fairpoint to provide its customers with high-speed internet service without the inherently high costs associated with DSL or fiber networks.
